Welcome to the Happy Skincare community! Firstly we would like to thank you for reading our blog.

It has been exciting times lately. Happy Skincare has been charging ahead and the great news is that the Anti-aging and Repair cream will be ready in early December. Just in time for Christmas for those who are struggling for present ideas. I know what our Mums will have in their stockings this year as an extra thank you for their constant support though out the year. The Dads may get some as well now they are getting into looking after themselves.

The ‘Not So’ Secret Vital Ingredient That Your Moisturiser Is Probably Missing

Our Anti-aging and repair cream will contain MSM as one of its prime ingredients. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a natural organic form of sulphur. It is not related to common sulphurs, sulphates or sulphites. It is the 4th most abundant mineral in the human body and is required for healthy skin, nails and hair and for that reason it has been dubbed the “Beauty Mineral”.

MSM allows cell walls to be permeable allowing nutrients in and toxins out. MSM is used by the body to create new healthy cells and is required for the synthesis of Collagen. This reportedly keeps skin youthful and healthy. MSM allows your body to fully utilise the benefits of Vitamin C and collagen to help fight the signs of age. Further conditions reported to have been aided by MSM are acne, dry skin, itching, scarring and aging. The list is very long so if you are interested in more information try a Google search for Dr Stanley Jacobs, Dr Robert Herschler or miracle MSM.

Natural AHA Face Peel

Here is a quick and easy at home face peel we would love to share with you. Phoebe has been trying it out and loving it! It is great in helping clear blemishes, acne scars and renewing the skin. Go on treat yourself.

1 part papaya
1 part kiwi fruit

Blend together, place into an ice cube tray and freeze. When ready rub ice cube over face and leave on for 10 minutes or less depending on your skin. Wash off with your favourite cleanser and then moisturise.

Notes

  1. Test on a small area before applying fully to your face and neck.
  2. Take care in the sun after using.
  3. Use once a week.
  4. Kiwi fruit can be replaced with pineapple or other fruits high in vitamin C and anti-oxidants
