As is the story for many products in Happy Land, this beautiful specimen of a balm started life as something else. We were on a mission to create a balm that would be a divine match for the most sensitive of sensitive skins - a baby's :)
Then we thought - gosh, if this product meets the super high standards of skincare for a precious newborn bub, then how amazing is it going to be for the rest of us?
So we decided to share this multi-purpose balm with the grown up and big kids too.
The “All Things Nice” is a multi-tasking juggernaut. You can use it for:
- nourishing dry skin,
- nurturing crazily sensitive skin,
- calming angry skin,
- intensive treatment for healthy nails and cuticles,
- massage oil,
- lip conditioning,
- suitable for looking after delicate baby skin,
- treating split ends, taming curls and controlling frizz
- ... and even as a protective barrier when climbing Mount Everest!
This balm has a few more tricks up its sleeve. It’s Australian made (of course), 100% natural, cruelty free, vegan, nut free, zinc free, fragrance free, shea butter free, and essential oil free… oh my.
Disclaimer: We've heard many stories about the joys that the All Things Nice has given people who are experiencing therapeutic skin conditions, but unfortunately we can't re-tell them here. We're not allowed to talk about certain skin conditions due to regulations from the Therapeutic Goods Administration, but if there's an issue you've been struggling with please get in touch.
What makes the All Things Nice a stellar Aussie do-it-all balm?
We started with one of our very favourite oils - Camellia - because it’s so rich in vitamins A, B and E and also contains phytosqualene. Absolutely perfect for restoring and protecting your skin.
But we wanted this balm to be unique and powerful, so we decided to do something really special with our camellia oil. It took a lot of patience but the results speak for themselves. The oil has been ever so gently infused with Calendula, Comfrey and Old Man Salt Bush.
Our oil infusion process is takes place over days and weeks, as we gently allow the goodness from these incredible herbs to make its way into the camellia oil. The result is an oil that is a skin saviour.
Calendula is an oldy but a goody. It is a superherb (if that is such a thing!). It has anti inflammatory and healing properties which have made calendula creams go-to items in a Mum’s ‘make you feel better’ bag.
Comfrey is another tried and true superherb that grows everywhere. It helps to condition dry skin, prevents flakiness and has anti-inflammatory properties. Though it is for topical application only.
Old Man Salt Bush is a native Australian plant which is usually used in your dinner rather than your skin. But it’s a traditional medicinal plant for Australian aboriginals, often being used to treat stings, bites and wounds. The Aboriginals knew a thing or two about bush medicine so it was only fitting to make it available for everyone in the All Things Nice.
It doesn’t stop there either. This balm also contains Pumpkin seed oil for its high levels of skin conditioning zinc and Olive Oil for even more phyto squalene and phytosterols. A dash of refreshing and soothing Cucumber Oil adds an oh-so-subtle sweetness to this lovely balm.
The cherry (or should we say plum!) on top of this formula is Kakadu Plum seed Oil. It’s another traditional Aboriginal bush medicine and is a fair dinkum champion for your skin. It made perfect sense to add it to the balm and utilise more of Australia’s amazing botanical ingredients.
